A stampede of Grazer will come running through Mother's Heart. You must kill one of the Grazers and harvest its parts for a trophy.
After looting your first trophy, it will get shattered by an arrow. You have to kill a grazer again and loot a trophy.
Now that you have your second trophy, quickly make your way towards the Brave Trail. Follow the objective icon on your user interface to avoid getting lost in the snow storm.
Upon reaching the Brave trail, Aloy finds herself in last place due to her 1st trophy shattering. She sees an abandoned trail and decides to take it.
Traverse the abandoned trail without dying. It is an easy path to follow but a dangerous one. If you aren't careful you can easily fall; in a way it is like an extension of the tutorial for advanced navigation around the world.
Aloy finishes The Proving and comes out in 1st place as the winner but shortly later invaders come to attack.
You must kill all the invaders. The first set of enemies is easy, climb up to the side of the ledge and take out the archers with your spear one by one.
The next wave can be difficult, use everything you have and try to aim for their heads to kill them in one shot. You can set up traps but most of the time you will have to fight them with your spear. They can easily run up to you if you plan to use the bow so run up to the ledge where they came from if you plan to use the bow. However that ledge will not stop them from climbing up to kill you.
After killing the fsecondt wave of invaders a another one will come in. One of them will have a Deathbringer Gun; try to kill that one first. If you run out of healing items, there are supply boxes scattered around the area and lots of medicinal herbs. Run around to pick them up and use the boulders to take cover from arrows.
Once you've killed all the invaders, approach the body of the Deathbringer Gun wielder and a cut-scene will start.
After killing all the enemies, walk up to the enemy leader and loot his items. This will start a cut-scene.
